Mini Underwater Hockey History
1998-1999 Mini Underwater Hockey Courses
In 1998, Huia Pool approached the Wellington Underwater Hockey Association (WUHA) to run conjointly NZUA Mini Underwater Hockey Courses at Huia Pool on a commercial basis under their Hutt City Council's Swim City programme. As demand grew, parent Jane Hocking approached the WUHA committee to see what the association could do to provide for 8-12 year old players who have completed one of these courses. Discussions occurred between Jane and the Schools Development committee member, Tristan Reynard
