Central Zone U18 Underwater Hockey

The Wellington Underwater Hockey Association (WUHA) select a boys and girls squad of players from the Central Zones schools qualifying tournament. From the squads, 4 teams are selected to play at the annual U18 Interzone Championship.

The New Zealand U18 Interzone Championships are orgainsed for the top 8 zone teams from around the country.  At the Interzone Championships the New Zealand U18/19 Squads are selected for the international (Trans-Tasman or Worlds) championship the following year.

Mini UWH League Coaching and Refereeing

The Wellington Underwater Hockey Association requires all U18 Squad members to coach or referee at least two of following Mini UWH Evenings:
If a squad member completes at least 2 Mini's then the full cost of U18 Championships will be reduced by $150. If 1 Mini is completed the cost will be reduced by $75.
