2026 Mini Underwater Hockey Tournaments.

Welcome to the Mini Underwater Hockey League.
The league gives students a taste of Underwater Hockey (UWH) and develops a love of the game so that when they reach Secondary School they can join up for their school's team knowing what the game is about.

​Event Details
Location:  Te Ngaengae Pool, 12 Everest Ave, Naenae.  We have two events at WRAC, Kilbirnie this year as well.​
Entry Cost :   $180 per team. 

• The draw is limited to 12 teams participating on a night.  .  Please use the registration buttons  to sign up as a team or as an individual.
•  Team sizes are expected to be 10-12 players.
• Children should be encouraged to bring their own Mask, Snorkel and Fins.  
• Equipment that children do not have, is available for use during the tournament.
•  A coach for each team will also be allocated.
•  Schools will be allocated up two teams on various nights.  Our demand is building up but we still have capacity for schools to have an extra team if there is demand.​ ​

What do you need to bring?

Gear: Mask, Snorkel, Flippers, sticks & gloves are provided but even if you can bring some gear then that is very helpful.
1) Players who play in the WUHA schools and clubs league are ineligible to play at Mini Leagues. 
 This is because the Mini League is a place to allow kids to try out the sport in an environment where everyone is learning together.
2)Teams are not allowed to have players from other schools playing in their team without prior approval from the Mini League coordinators.
